Exam preparation is built into the Dorset College CEFR syllabus – not added on at the last minute.

When you book your English Language course, you can indicate that you wish to take a Trinity ISE exam.

Teachers integrate ISE-style tasks into lessons – reading, writing, speaking and listening mapped to the CEFR.

You complete at least one full mock exam under timed conditions and receive feedback on your performance.

As you approach the end of your course, the Academic Team confirms your CEFR level, ISE level and exam date.

Written and speaking components are held at Dorset College in quiet, supervised rooms.

You receive your result by email from Dorset, and Trinity issues a digital certificate that you can use for study, work or visa purposes.

Exam fees are additional to tuition and include registration with Trinity College London, Dorset College exam administration and invigilation, and at least one full mock exam with feedback. Fees may change in line with Trinity College London pricing; Admissions will confirm the current fee when you register.

If you are late, you may not be allowed to enter once the exam has started, in line with Trinity regulations.

Your level is based on your CEFR class level, internal assessment and teacher recommendation. The Academic Team will advise whether ISE Foundation, I, II or III is the best fit.
No, exam fees are separate from tuition, although an external exam is required for some 25+ week Stamp 2 visa programmes. Admissions will confirm the exact fee when you register.
When Trinity releases your results, Dorset College will email you with your outcome. Trinity then issues a digital certificate which you can use for study, work or visa purposes where Trinity ISE is accepted.
