Once a non-EEA student arrives in Ireland and has their passport stamped by the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) at the port of entry, they are deemed to be an ISE student and no refund will be issued.
Similarly, if a student has received a visa from an Irish Embassy abroad, they are also considered an ISE student and no refund will be made.
If a student visa application is refused, ISE will refund fees paid minus an administration fee of €150, provided that:
- all original enrolment documents are returned
- the original visa refusal letter is supplied
If a student cancels their course, ISE will refund fees paid minus the €150 administration fee, provided that written cancellation is received at least 21 days before the course commencement date.
