Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations due to visa permission rejections, written notification together with the relevant supporting documentation must be presented to ISE Ireland at least 14 days prior to the listed arrival date.

Upon receipt of the supporting documentation, 100% of the tuition fees will be refunded.

If evidence of visa refusal is not supplied within the required timeframe (at least 14 days prior to arrival), a cancellation fee equivalent to one week's full accommodation and tuition fees will apply.

Non-Refundable Fees

Students are advised to pay fees through ISE’s TransferMate account (Escrow account) for visa-required countries. For non-EU students this payment method is mandatory, as funds are held securely in a protected Escrow account pending the visa decision.

The following fees are non-refundable (this list is extensive but not exhaustive):

If evidence of visa refusal is not supplied within the required timeframe (at least 14 days prior to arrival), a cancellation fee equivalent to one week's full accommodation and tuition fees will apply.

  • Express mail fee – €60
  • Accommodation placement fee – €70
  • Administration fee – €150
  • Bank transfer fee (rate depends on country)
  • Medical insurance policy issued – €150

Note: Monetary differences may occur due to currency exchange rates on the date of visa rejection notification.

Refund Stages

Refund requests must be submitted to the ISE Accounts Department using the official refund request form.

A decision is normally made within five working days, although it may take up to two weeks.

Refund FAQ

Once a non-EEA student arrives in Ireland and has their passport stamped by the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) at the port of entry, they are deemed to be an ISE student and no refund will be issued.

Similarly, if a student has received a visa from an Irish Embassy abroad, they are also considered an ISE student and no refund will be made.

If a student visa application is refused, ISE will refund fees paid minus an administration fee of €150, provided that:

  • all original enrolment documents are returned
  • the original visa refusal letter is supplied

If a student cancels their course, ISE will refund fees paid minus the €150 administration fee, provided that written cancellation is received at least 21 days before the course commencement date.

If a visa application is refused because of alse or misleading information, the student will not be entitled to any refund..

Students are responsible for ensuring all submitted information is accurate.

No. Once classes have commenced, no refunds are issued for missed classes or early withdrawal from a course.

If an unexpected situation occurs and proof is provided, credit may be issued for unused paid weeks. This credit will remain valid for six months from the first missed day.

Although this is unlikely, ISE reserves the right to adjust course dates if necessary to improve course delivery or examinations.

Such changes do not affect the student’s terms and conditions, therefore no refund will be issued.
